Originally from Windsor, Ontario, Dr. Hui earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Mathematics before completing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry.
Dr. Hui provides comprehensive eye care with a strong emphasis on the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and dry eye. He also has extensive experience in contact lens fittings and routine vision care. What he enjoys most about optometry is building lasting relationships with his patients, taking the time to educate them about their eye health, and providing personalized care tailored to their individual needs.
Outside the office, Dr. Hui enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their three children, Rory, Quinn, and Vivian, along with their Siberian Husky, Meisha. Whether it's staying active, enjoying the outdoors, golfing, or spending time with family, there's rarely a dull moment! And while his Canadian roots run deep, Iowa City has become home, and he's proudly embraced Hawkeye country—especially when it comes to football and basketball!
